I graduated from Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree in English and Education, and then earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Washington University (now Brown School) with a focus on medical social work and disabilities. Later came a doctorate degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and Community Planning, with a focus on adolescents in group home care and child welfare. I am licensed in Virginia (LCSW) and certified to provide individual and group supervision to social workers seeking LCSW licensure and ongoing skill development.
